The Cove was posted the other night. It's in NOVELS/RANICLA.
I've updated the site a bit, trying to get a more intuitive/less-clicks design. I have the next few pieces of Ranicla already written and am currently editing them. After The Cove is APT #606, which I'm working on this very second.
I've also been making some minor changes in all of the shorts. Every story has been changed in some way, and all the new black pdfs are a potent dark grey.
I've posted Black N' White, which is a Ranicla piece, and I've posted Moon Jumpin', a short.
So far for the shorts I have posted, which mostly started in late October, I have 21,568 words. I'm thinking of putting them together as a shorts compilation. Possibly title it Fall 2007. I may take a look at Lulu. Contact me if you know any places to publish.
I've got five Ranicla pieces I'm editing, soon to post, and Moon Jumpin' has been written. Milk Drunk has finally been posted – it took a month to go from the original idea to finished piece. I feel it took far too long. The original idea didn't have much going for it, but after three weeks, I started pounding out 1k here and there, and it's done.
Ranicla has been very potent in my mind as of late. There's now seven pieces in it, which come out to approximately 10k words. I hope to get everything edited and posted soon, but I'm not going to stop writing.
I've decided to merge my remaining Christmas ideas into one final piece. It will be 'Milk N' Bones'. I'm guessing it'll be around 3-4k words. I should have it done in a week's time. Ranicla isn't hitting those Sunday's. But I will be working on both Ranicla and Genocide after Milk N' Bones. I also have ideas for Fall Brothers going down. Novel writing will take priority after this last short. Though whatever I come up with will be written, whether it's shorts, flash, etc. I'm also polishing up some of the old shorts like Eyelid into flash's – 600 words a piece.
I have a new Christmas story out on the site: Rudolph The Misfit. This is the fourth Christmas piece, and I plan on doing two more. The other two are Milk N' Bones and Disfigured Dwarves (title wip). I decided to go through some of my older work, to polish it and make more sense of it, so that they're all equally strong.
The second issue of Ranicla has been uploaded. It's titled Face Cut, you'll find it in NOVELS/RANICLA. I'm currently working on the next Ranicla piece, Rudolph The Misfit, Disfigured Dwarves (title may change), and Milk N' Bones. Once I finish the Christmas pieces, I'll get back to Habitual Genocide and post a revised Chapter 1-2.
I've been writing Christmas stories today. I have two completed, and two to go. Ranicla's second issue will be out soon. It's titled Face Cutter. For now, check out Reindeer Blood in SHORTS.
I will be writing a weekly serial of the city which 'Doin Lines With The Devil' takes place. It's called Ranicla. Rosco and Bozolli will be featured along with other characters. I will post each installment every Sunday. The run is planned to last five months, 20 pieces. Each one will be roughly 2k-3k words.
I've just finished Rage the Wolf. It's a story of lust, desire, and hardcore, splatter goodness. Impalin' those clouds, man. Read it in the SHORTS section.
I've been thinking of writing a clown story the past week and wrote it tonight. It's roughly 1500 words and an easy read. I had a lot of fun writing it, so I marked it as an adventure story opposed to a short. I'm considering doing multiple adventures of Fappo the Clown. I'll have to see the feedback. Not that I'd hold Fappo back. Guy's fuckin awesome. It's posted in the SHORTS section.
I've just finished a new story titled 'Doin Lines With The Devil'. It's posted in the SHORTS section. I entered it in a Lit Horror contest on DevArt. I'm very satisfied with how the story came out. I focused on a horror approach, with transgressive traced through it. I like the characters and the story very much, so I may continue it. There's a very good chance there will be more of Bozolli and Rosco.
I've been working on Habitual Genocide as my main focus beyond 'doinlines'. I'm working on describing the world more in the beginning. I have a feeling that there's many people who are unfamiliar with cyberpunk and may not pick up on the terms as fast as I want them to.
The Genocide has just been uploaded to the NOVELs section. I'm really excited for this one. I had originally wrote the idea for this last year and came out with a 30 page scramble which didn't have the elements in it I was looking for. This is a revision I started writing last week, this is the third write for these chapters. I have a good amount of ideas for Habitual Genocide.
The first chapter to Rose Bianchetti has been posted. This character experiences hellish nightmares which begin to start manifesting. There's a lot of ground to cover as far as the nightmares go.
The concept which pulled me into writing was Torn Minds. Torn Minds is an abstract idea. It's what defines myself and hits some of the philosophy I believe. Torn Minds isn't necessarily one location or one span of time. It's a lucid idea which can enfold itself into anything. Initially though, it began as a story about vampires.
Of course there's many different types of vampires. The Torn Mind deZ is relentless, strong, morally diverse, unethical, and adventurous. The collection I just posted was written in 2004-2005. I just revised it slightly, touching up the grammar, but kept everything else intact. I plan on writing more Torn Minds in a more narrative form. Origins is heavily poetic and is in small self-contained chapters.
